- 500 g caster (not to be confused with couscous).
- 2 tablespoons olive oil.
- 1 teaspoon salt.
- 1.5 teaspoon yeast coffee.
Mix the semolina, oil, salt and yeast in a large container (eg salad bowl).
Add lukewarm water little by little while kneading the mixture until a soft dough .. but compact
Knead well on a table aerating the dough.
Divide dough into two balls of pasta.
Flatten each of the two balls of dough using a rolling pin to get two round cakes although a little less than a cm thick. .
Let stand 30 minutes the two wafers by covering them with a cloth .
Cook the patties in a griddle over medium heat. - Stronger of the two sides . Turn the patties during cooking to obtain a homogeneous golden color.
During cooking the dough is capable of swelling in places, suddenly do with holes with a fork.
